What is the lifespan of Compression Socks?

With proper care, our TXG medical-grade compression socks and stockings generally maintain their therapeutic benefits for 3 to 6 months with daily wear.

However, at TXG, because we use high-quality materials that, with proper care, may extend their lifespan to as long as 12 months.

However, the elastic (lycra) fibers will gradually deteriorate, resulting in diminished pressure for managing swelling or enhancing circulation after this period.

Signs It's Time for a Replacement:
- Loss of Elasticity: Socks feel loose, slide down easily, or are less difficult to put on.
- Visible Damage: Noticeable thinning, holes at the toes or heels, or frayed edges.
- Diminished Effectiveness: Recurrence of swelling or feelings of fatigue.

Tips for Prolonging Life:
- Wash by hand.
- Avoid using high heat in the dryer.
- Rotate between 2 to 3 pairs.
- Treat them gently.
